2. About Our Organization

Mercy House Adult Teen Challenge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Christ-centered, faith-based residential recovery ministry. Our programs and services are offered in accordance with our mission to help men, women, and families find freedom from life-controlling issues through a 12-month residential program.

3. Use of Our Website

• You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only.
• You may not misuse, hack, or attempt to disrupt the website or its services.

4. Program Enrollment & Applications

Submission of an intake application or volunteer application does not guarantee acceptance. Mercy House reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion. All information provided on applications must be true and complete to the best of your knowledge.

For intake program participants, additional program-specific terms, rules, and expectations apply and will be provided upon enrollment.

5. Donations & Payments

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Donations are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Mercy House does not store full payment card details on its servers. Tax-deductible receipts are issued for qualifying contributions as permitted by IRS regulations for 501(c)(3) organizations.

6. SMS Text Messaging Terms

Mercy House operates an SMS text messaging program for volunteers who opt in. By opting in, you agree to the following terms:

• Opt-In: Consent is given by checking the SMS opt-in box on our volunteer application and providing your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of volunteering.
• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your scheduled shifts, typically 1–4 messages per month.
• Message & Data Rates May Apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
• Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel your subscription at any time.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
• Automated System: Messages are sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age and the owner of the mobile number, or have authorization to consent on the account holder's behalf.
• Non-Sharing: We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number to third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Volunteer Service

Volunteers serve at their own risk and are expected to follow all Mercy House policies and staff instructions while on campus or representing the organization. Mercy House may terminate a volunteer's service at any time at its discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mercy House Adult Teen Challenge, its staff, board members, volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, programs, or services to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
